Nordic IT service company Enfo offers a spectrum of services for companies operating in the world of digitalization. The challenge was that although now comprising of the bigger Enfo Group, the company used to consist of several companies and many business units operating in their respective expertise, with not enough information passed between them. Enfo also needed to improve their social media presence and content marketing; They were present but not active on their social media channels, and they really needed to increase their number of followers and engagement.
Individual employees were active and willing to participate in Enfo’s activities. Employee Advocacy and Smarp provided an excellent way to systematically spread the company’s content—which was now being invested in on a larger scale—both internally and externally. Through trainings and internal advertising, Enfo’s employees started to use Smarp to spread content. The adoption rate for Smarp has been significant – over 50 per cent of their employees. Board members have set an example for employees with their active use of the tool, and news that are relevant to the company as a whole have been particularly popular among employees. Enfo is in the process of sprucing up its communications strategy, and Smarp has been included as a KPI for measuring the company’s publicity.
The links shared through Smarp have notably increased traffic to those sections of Enfo’s site with content; traffic has gone up by 15% in the last year. The company has even generated leads based on their social media presence alone. Taking into account the EEMV for the first six months alone this year—approx. 26K—the ROI for the Employee Advocacy investment is nearly threefold. The company deems this a significant amount, in terms of its monetary and other value.
